Commemorative Scarf Design Commissioned for Toledo Botanical Garden
To celebrate the 2007 Crosby Award Luncheon at the Toledo Botanical Garden in Toledo, Ohio, Martha was recently commissioned to design a signature silk scarf for their fund raising efforts. The Garden encompasses 64 acres of dazzling display gardens and picturesque landscapes. As part of their community outreach programs they are developing a Children's Garden to educate the school children in the values of gardening - vegetables and cut flowers, teaching about composting and recycling the soils.
Martha's scarf design was inspired by her love of flowers and the colors of Spring. Luscious poppy-like blossoms in pinks and greens set on a background of black make this scarf a dramatic and unique fashion accessory or table scarf.
When you are considering unique fundraising ideas for your favorite charity organization, consider working with Martha to design something very special and a sure sell for your cause. |
