The floral borders around your invitation or photograph can depict the flowers that you carry in your ceremony, flowers that represent specific meanings, or express the theme of your wedding. Given as gifts to your partner, your bridal party or your parents will carry with it the memory of your special day.
   
  This wedding wreath was a visual expression of the love witnessed and celebrated at their wedding. The grapevine symbolizes the cycles of life which holds roses for love and friendship, the mayflower for hope and new beginnings, ivy for devotion, violets for happiness and asters for special thoughts. The ribbon symbolizes everlasting love.
   
  They met at a Renaissance Festival ! So, for their wedding gift we wanted to celebrate their first meeting along with their "story". She is a vet (the reason for all the critters); he is a nurse (symbolized by the Nightingale's lamp); they have a golden retriever. She carried irises for her ceremony.
   
  The groom grew up on the shore of Connecticut and now lives on the shore of California. For his wedding, he and his bride came "home" to be married at the beach in CT … so for their invitations, the place cards and the gifts for every guest, we depicted a scene to celebrate their love and their love of the water.
   
  Of Scottish background ( the thistles are the country's flower shown on the English coins) but living in New Zealand, we wanted to represent both countries. The Maori design on the left symbolizes the joining together of 2 people for eternity. According to the folklore, it says the even though the 2 may sometimes move away from each other on their own journeys, they will always come together again sharing their lives and blending to become one. The strength and bond of friendship, loyalty and love will last forever. The design on the right means good luck and prosperity.
